How did I get the nickname of “Blankie” and why does it mean so much to me?

How did you get your nickname?  Please share with us via comments.  I might share your story on a future episode.  Please keep those blankie pictures coming, too, for possible inclusion in future episode program notes.

Today’s lullaby is sung to the tune of Daisy Bell, composed by Harry Dacre in 1892.

Blankie, blankie, give me some comfort do.

I’d be cranky if not for the snuggling of you.

My quilt, my bear, my dolly,

my mitt, my friend, so jolly.

No, I can’t sleep, I only weep, without Blankie, how I love you!

Your reviews, likes, comments and subscriptions are very much appreciated and will propel The Blankie Blog to listeners worldwide.
